Costing Run

Dear Gurus,

I have created Three costing variants in a single plant. I have done costing run with first variant and the given material were updated correctly. And for the other materials while doing costing run with another variant, Marking in authorisation coloumn in CK40N screen is showing "X".

Is there any other config to be done so that i can execute costing run for the rest material with another Costing variant...

Pls through some light on this..Awaiting for your reply..

If the costing variant has the costing type upadate standard cost, then no problem.

You have to click on the lock symbol to permit allowance.

Thnx for your immediate responce. The costing variant has the costing type upadate standard cost. The problem of mine is i have done costing run for the current month with one costing variant and for the same month while executing costing run with another variant for the same plant i am unable to get the LOCK button in CK40N screen.it is diplaying with "X" symbol. While double click with that lock symbol i am getting with previous costing variant and even if i execute marking, i am not getting any messages or costing updation in Future price .

Usually we need only one costing variant that is used for standard cost estimate. this is the one that is used for marking and releasing.

Check the validity of the cositng run. The shall be in future. and only once can you release the cost estimate in a month.

I am also facing the same issue.

If you have already resolved the same, please let me know how to clear it.
