Can we design a web portal using SAP FIORI for public sector

Hi Experts,

Can we design a web portal using the SAP FIORI . I heard that SAP FIORI is not the best suit for designing the web portals for public sector for reasons such as security breach, performance etc.,

Could you please provide some insights in this context.

Security breach? Thats not a fiori issue, thats poor security design...simple..and could you elaborate more on where you read this? Performance issues could be an issue, like all technology.

Yes our requirement is similar to that but the client already has a web site we need to link our firoi LP/application to it(ex: need to launch the Fiori LP/app up on hitting a button on the existing web site).

You can just provide link fiori launchpad to open it in new tab.
