Crystal Reports parameters issue

At this installation, I have a crystal report that is using IBMi (AS400) data via an ODBC. Recently they upgraded this IBM I to power 8. But they also changed the machine name.

THis change of machine name had effect in 'command' function of Crystal reports because the machine name is used, so they would not run. I did change that name, reinstalled the CR is it is fine.

BUt now we have a new issue. One CR uses parameter with Dynamic data. This is not working on CMC, it is not populating the parameter with data value. It does allow user to enter the data but they would prefer the dynamic. However, when I run this exact program in my local- it DOES populate this parameter.

I did re-write the program using the ODBC connection now called the new machine name but this does not affect. When I loaded the cr to the users BI folder it would not load. It gives this error. I load as a local document.

An error has occurred: Adding Crystal Report "Forecast by Reporting Code.rpt" failed. The server with kind rptappserver returned an error result. Failed to copy the report file to the report object. Refreshing the report object properties might have failed. Failed to read data from report file C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\Data\CrystalReportsRasServer\temp\{51996BF6-6146-49F4-B600-7463AC8EE127}.rpt. Reason: Failed to read parameter object.

I then loaded the cr to my folder on the main folder and this did load with out the above error but it does not work as needed.
