Bin denial order stock

If there is a bin denial because of stock shortage how can you use exception processing to create an order to replinish the stock?

    Hi,

there is no Internal Process Code which does directly trigger something like that, but you can trigger a workflow (https://help.sap.com/viewer/a602ff71a47c441bb3000504ec938fea/1709%20000/en-US/4f41e8a0dd89535fe10000000a421937.html) through the exception code. And what the workflow can, just depends on you and your skills.

And it is EWM. NOT eWM - Duh!
And if your question includes the word "transfer order" - do NOT tag the question with Extended Warehouse Management!

    Hi Bruce,

Please check the below links .

    Direct replenishment

    Partial Picking

Exception Code: REPL ( Replenishment )

    BC Set: /SCWM/EXCEPTION_CODES

Please set up the replenish process and let us know if you have further query.

    Kind Regards,

    Ajit

    • No problem. And maybe I am wrong. Indeed a lot of people are mixing these things up. And actually my answer should have been: "why should EWM do anything here?". As I usually give it in a class when this question comes.
