I have installed SAPSprint in a print spool server. SAPSprint proves to work on our sandbox server but not our development, quality and production servers. The error shows in SM21 is "Connection Closed by Remote SAPLPD/lpd". dev_w* trace files and SAPSprint log file (LogLevel 5) show no error. Does anyone know where could have gone wrong? Since our sandbox is working well with the print spool server running SAPSprint, I don't think there is a problem with the configuration of SAPSprint.
I have raised this case to SAP but they can't provide me much info except OSS note 894444 which is helpless in this situation.
Points will be awarded for any positive feedback.

Hi Annie,
Can u pl take a bit more pain to check Note 10758 - SAPSprint or SAPLPD cannot be reached. What should be done?
It provides a step by step checking procedure.
On the basis of these checks we can try to proceed further.

Hi Manas,
This problem has been resolved. What happen is when SAP assists to check the SAPSprint, they are not using the default port no 515 due to our environment. Therefore, I encountered the problem when I didn't specified the correct port number for the destination host. I have walked through OSS note 10758 previously but it didn't help, that's why.
Thanks for the response.
