Why is the SAP Advantage Database Server not listed as a product anymore?

hi Bernd,

Search on SAP market place and change the search field to Downloads and next to it put "sap advantage database server" you should to be able to find it.

Please check if your S-User ID has all the rights to search software downloads?

There is support for Advantage Database Server, for every customer which have a valid support contract with SAP.

ok-I understood. I only remember that our opinion was interesting SyBase and ExtendedSystem. And now we have not any dialogue with the ADS developers (if they exist). Forum is closed (http://devzone.advantagedatabase.com/forum) and we do not have any opportunity to discuss the technical problems.

There are PM and engineering team for ADS. But the only way to communicate with ADS team is now via this new SAP community.

Unfortunately nobody answered my question from 25 Oct. about bug in ver.12.0

Actually, the phrase "listed as a product anymore" means something else.

I think, if the Advantage Database Server is a product of SAP it has to be mentioned in this list: Explore our data management products

This is not the case. Why not? Because it is not a "real" product anymore?

On Google you could still found this page: SAP Advantage Database Server

But this page has no value for a customer or a developer. Please compare it with a page of a "real" ...SAP SQL Anywhere

We all know, there can't be bright future of ADS. To be honest, the best we as developers and our users can hope for: SAP gives the project to an open source community.

Or SAP supports ADS or opens it to сommunity.

"SAP sells ADS and doesn't support it" - it's not fair 😞
