Hi,
I would like to inquire if anyone who is using CATS on ECC 6 has encountered this. And if yes is it the standard behavior of the new version of is it just a bug.
After submission of OT of the employee the approving officer approves it on EP through BWSP and immediately after the entry is approved and saved it is reflected on the infotype.
I also tried CAPP in ECC and it does not create the entries in the infotype immediately but once I execute the approval through EP then it would get created on the infotype already.
Hope someone replies.
Thanks and best regards.
Hi,
Thanks for the reply but the mere fact that I have an approver approving OT means I have not checked this option. That is why I am surprised when I see the entries reflecting on the infotype.
Hope someone can clarify this.
Thanks and best regards.

Hi,
Go to IMG>Cross Application Components>Time Sheet>Specific Settings for CATS Regular>CATS Regular>Set Up Data Entry Profile>Select your profile
Remove Tick mark from the check box immediate transfer to HR.then save the profile now.
Note:-The CATS behavior in EP always depends the settings what you made in R/3.
You can check the status of your time records in the initial data entry screen CAT2 by double clicking on the number of hours as it has been released for approval or not!
Status 10 is In Process
Status 20 is Released for Approval
Status 30 Approved
Status 40 Approval Rejected. etc..
Cheers
Prasanth

In the data entry profile for CATS, did you check if the option 'Immediate Transfer to HR' has been checked or ignored?
If this checked, then the option 'Approval required' needs to be ignored.
Pl do reward, if helpful.
Thanks
