Sub assembly for finish product

Hello All

I have following requirement.

finish product YF1 has sub assembly YI1 and YI2.

My requirement is to drive demand for both sub-assemblies through finish product YF1.

I want to consume YI1 into YF1 but i dont want to consume YI2.

Yi2 will be sent separately to customer.

Please let me know, how to map this scenario

I don't know where to set the relevancy indicator for sub operation, can u tell me where to set it.

Maybe a sales BOM can help you. The header of this this sales BOM is YF1, the component is YI2. So when you create a customer order there are 2 items: YF1 and YI2 which can be delivered to the customer. The production BOM includes both materials, YI1 and YI2. For the component YI2 the indicator "relevancy for production" must not be set.
