Hi,

when i post an invoice in MIRO i have this message error :

<b>Account 733101 (exchange gains) requires an assignment to a CO

Diagnosis

You have not defined a CO account assignment for an account that is

relevant to cost accounting.

System response

Account 733101 is defined as a cost element.

This means that you must always specify a CO account assignment.</b>

Please help me to solve that : mechanism, transaction...

    KA02 for the cost element define a default cost center.

    Hi,

    Good afternoon and greetings,

    Account No.733101 is a P&L GL account and requires to be created as Cost Element as well. Create the Primary Cost element and assign the cost element to a cost center in OKB9 transaction. Then process the transaction, it will go through without any error.

    Assing a proper cost center to the cost element in OKB9. every cost element posting needs a cost object associated with it. In your case it didnot find any. so you can make setings in okb9
