Condition Maintenance in CRM

Hi Experts

When craeting a BP, in the conditions tab, I do not get all the condition types defined in IMG -> Basic Functions -> Condition Type .I understand this is because of the condition maintenance group "PRODUCTCRM" in IMG -> Master Data -> Condition Technique -> Condition Maintenance Group.

Can I change this and assign a different group to get different set of conditions in product master

Hi Jessy,

As you rightly said that in the product master we can only see a set of condition types. They are only the ones which have been assigned in the condition maintenance group ' PRODUCTCRM' .

If you wish to change the condition maintenance group to something else, all you need to do is

1. Go to Tcode: SPRO

CRM -> Master Data -> Products -> Special Settings for Sales Operations -> Assign Condition Group to Application CRM

2. Here for application CRM you can change it to someother condition Maintenance group, which ever you have defined.

• By standard condition Maintenance group of Product master is 'PRODUCTCRM' and for business partner it is 'BUPA'**

In the similar fashion the condition Maintenance group of business partner can also be changed

Hi jessy,

Your Understanding is absolutely right. We can create condition Maintenance goup for all these areas. Like Business partner, business Partner Hierarchy, products , contract and campaigns.

1. The condition Maintenence group BUPA by standard is used for Business partner which is assigned in the IMG.( I am not very sure with the path , but it somewhere in CRM-> Master Data-> business partner-> basic settings--> Define Condition Group.

If you wish you can even change the Maintenannce Group.

2.Refer the previous thread for product master.

3. Similarly you assign for BP hierarchy, campaigns and contracts, in their respective customizing.

BTW, I created a group and assigned it to my own cat in BP hierarchy.

The tab page for conditions do not appear on it.

Any ideas ?
