    Hello PT Rao,

Suppose you need to do an IDOC to IDOC scenario ... XI will just be used for monitoring.

In these cases, by using IDOC tunelling, we can avoid the conversion of IDOC in to XML and therby imrove perfromance.

have a look at the following

    Hi

You can go for a simple IDoc to IDoc also.also same RFC Destinations and ports will work for all the interfaces. You need to do the ALE configurations once.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    check the pdf

    http://help.sap.com/printdocu/core/Print46c/en/data/pdf/CABFAALEQS/CABFAALEQS.pdf

RFC destination and port wud b configure once ,

as per the ale config u hav to create port partner profile etc in Sending n receiving systems see the odf for that,

rest in XI RFC destination and port has to be created,

u can also search in sdn as there was lot of discussions on this scenario earlier

    Regards,

    Pratibha
