Hi All,
I am configuring communication between the two sap systems through XI using IDOc .
SAP-XI-SAP
could anyone tell me how many RFC destinations ,ports ,partner profiles i have create.
I have to configure abt 10 interfaces between thse systems can i use same RFC destinations and portsd for all othere interfaces between thses two system..

RFC destination and port wud b configure once ,
as per the ale config u hav to create port partner profile etc in Sending n receiving systems see the odf for that,
rest in XI RFC destination and port has to be created,
u can also search in sdn as there was lot of discussions on this scenario earlier

You can go for a simple IDoc to IDoc also.also same RFC Destinations and ports will work for all the interfaces.You need to do the ALE configurations once.

Hello PT Rao,
Suppose you need to do an IDOC to IDOC scenario ... XI will just be used for monitoring.
In these cases, by using IDOC tunelling, we can avoid the conversion of IDOC in to XML and therby imrove perfromance.

I am doing between two SAP systems and i went thorugh the tunneling but it giving me fulll of confusion.
thats why i want to create straight scenario bet ween the two systems.
one morething this interface is not required any mappings .
could you suggest me which one i can follow for this type of scenario..
