Hi All,

In shdo I want to make the field sales office as mandatory , screen number is 101 , pls som eon eguide me what is it that i have to write in the screen variant field, am new to this pls guide me . i know the steps one of you had send me the procedure , kindly let me know in steps how to fill in the required fields , that is screen variant

hi,

try this

SHD0--->enter tocde has VA01>in transaction variants view enter transaction variant has BUS2032> click ikon with processing -

> now press control+f enter VBAK-VKBUR> now there is cloumn called rquiired tick it---> save

ensure that, When you select "Mandatory" for a field in a variant, you should not select "Output only" or "Invisible".

Another method:

If u want mandatory u be done then try with INCOMPLETION LOG

Hi ,

tried what ever possible i could but am not clear with screen variant , imcompletion log how do i do but then i just want to make sales office as mandatory , it should apply only to sales office not other things in sales order , does it work that way , pls guide

hi,

The incompletion log have block at following areas

Sales - Header

Sales - Item

Sales - Sched. Line

Partner

Sales Activity

Delivery header

Delivery item

meu path

step1:

spro-> img->Sd-> basis fn-> Log of incomplete terms-->define inncomplete terms->select A sales header & click procedure ikon of the left---->here select 11& click the fields

enter table name: VBAK(Sales Document header) field name: VKBUR (sales office) & screen: KKAU & select status group

Step2:

spro-> img->Sd-> basis fn-> Log of incomplete terms-->Assign inncomplete terms->

Assign procedures to the sales document types->select order type OR-->in procedure column enter 11à u will find IC dialog column -

>tick it this will not allow u to save the document until the PO no & po date is filled

Step 3:Status group

The status group allows u block sales at various level

spro-> img->Sd-> basis fn-> Log of incomplete terms-->Define status group terms->

This status group only u defining in step1

please follow in steps

Hi Sunaina

Goto SHD0 =, give the TCode say VA01 in the field "Transaction Code" and select "Screen Variant". Press your mouse in "Screen Variant" and select "F5" to create your requirement, so that you have to key in your order type and its respective sales area.

Once you give the above details, it will display all the sale order related details and you have to put "tick" in the field "Sales Office".

I think, now the said field will be made as mandatory in the sale order of the sales area what you have given above.
