hello friends,

i am tryin to make a new RFC connection but i have a problem.

in my sap logon i have 2 connection 1) PRD 2)DR-SERVER

now these 2 connection have their hostname same 'PRDSAPBD'

BUT THEIR IP ADDR IS DIFFERENT

FOR 1) PRD IP ADDR IS 202.144.94.163

AND FOR 2) DR-SERVER IP ADDR IS 131.0.0.15

using the ip addr of DR-SERVER i am getting a time-out during allocate error, and when i use host name 'PRDSAPBD' im only able to connect to PRD and not DR-SERVER.

i want to connect to DR-SERVER,so what do you suggest i do,pls help.

Hi,

If I understand you correctly you have two different RFC servers an a single machine with two different IP adresses?

Are you sure these RFC servers are each listening to their respective IP-adress only?

Could you choose a different port for each of these servers for testing purposes?

Hope this helps (please reward me if it does).

Hi,

This looks like a network issue to me. Can you connect to the two RFC servers using, e. g. telnet, or another tool?
