Data Type fields

Hi

I have defined my data type field as xsd:string. After that if I go Details column and click there I have these below rows to fill in. These details are varying for each data type fields

1.minLength

2.maxLength

3.Pattern

4.Enumeration

5.WhiteSpace.

Could you plz tell me what are these ?? I am searching for online help. But not able to locate any information for this ?? If anybody knows any useful links ......could you plz forward me the same ??

Hey

most of the times in Functional spec we get an element along with its length(s) and other attributes.

you use the Details column to set those parameters.

suppose you get a requirement which says that the PO number is a 10 digit integer

then you will set minLength=10 and maxLength=10.

similarly you can set other parameters
