Hi

"Installation PI"

I have installed PI system. while installation phase Handle PI exchange

profile i got error message.

but i am able to login to SAP PI system. But when i login through

webbrowser SAP NetWeaver Administrator and User management when i login

I am getting "Failed to process request. Please contact your system

administrator." "java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException " error i am

getting this error.

I have installed 3 times but 3 time i getting the same error in same place

Please advise me.

Hi Stefano,

Thanks for your reply, but i have done the samthing when re-start with sapinst i can able to complete the installation. But when i go to user management or Netweaver admin after login with j2ee_admin i am getting the java error

Hi Radha,

go to http://server:host/index.html

link UserManagement. Here you got to do config and change client if it is not the default client that you are using to log on the ABAP side.

the solution is simple.

Close sapinst and restart it.

Choose continue an old installation.

Now the installation will finish.
