SM30 sort by columns

Hello SDN friends,

we have several customer "Z" tables which are maintained thru SM30 table view.

Now some users require data sorting according to non-key fields, that is, selecting the desired columns and classifying them the same way that the ALV tables allow users to do.

I thank in advance people who have already done something like this and can give us some hint.

Best Regards,

Alexandre Gruer.

    • hi Alexander,

if you create a table maintenance view (to maintain the table entries through SM30), the system will automatically create a function group and function module to do this. You can edit this function module, so you can build in your own sort statements.

      hope this helps
