Hi Experts,
I have a KF "SBU Input" defined at PERPRODCUST base planning level.
This KF is editable in nature. Users are expected to input the data manually at an aggregate level of SBU (attribute of Customer) and Product.
However the existing data volume is huge and this data is already available in an excel file. It is a tedious job for users to input all the data manually.
Is it possible to do an automated load of the data at this aggregate level of "Period-Product-SBU". Data is not available at the granular level of "Period-ProdID-CustID". Is there any work-around?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Paul
Hi Paul,
Aggregate data load is possible only for time dimension.
In your case I would configure an intermediate Key Figure on Period-Product-SBU planning level where I would load data. Then with the help of a split factor I would bring this data into the Key Figure available on Period-ProdID-CustID. (chapter 17.10 config guide)
If changes on aggregate level are not supposed to be reflected in real time on the most detailed level, you may consider using a DISAGG copy operator. After each data load a copy operator will run, copying and disaggregating the data. (chapter 10.8 config guide)
