Non valuated item

Hi,

First case:

We are recieving some vendor boxes to our company.I want it to be maintained as Non valuated and only receive as quantity stock. Can i call it as non-valuted stock???

Other case:

We are procuring material on account assignment K with material master. But these materials are also not hitting any stock value directly becuase i did n't update the valuation at plat level in OMS2.but,these will be entered in FI books through cost center.Shall i call it as non-valuted stock?

Experts,Please throw some light on this topic.

Thanks.

    hi KVSK

    First case :-

    UNBW (non-valuated materials)

Non-valuated materials are managed on a quantity basis, but not by value.

hence ur first case is of non valuated material

    Second case:

    NLAG (non-stock material)

Non-stock material is material that is not held in stock because it is consumed immediately. (Office supplies such as stationary. You need to create purchase order and accounting document for payment but the stock balance is always zero as it is issued out immediately to the various department

here ur second case is of non stock material and not non valuated material

I hope ur doubt is clear now for any clarification pls revert.

    Reward if usefull

    Vishal...

    Hi,

In the first case if the packaging belongs to Vendor and you need to return it to vendor you can use RTP as material type

Read more on following link reg.RTP

Second case you can manage as non stock
