Oppurtunity Management issue

Hi Gurus

i have an issue with oppurtunity management where client requires comparsion of Forecasting data (Revenue) in BW and also wants to see Invoiced data from Oppurtunity(i.e from order in ECC) and wants to compare forecasted data and invoiced generated data(from Oppurtunity forecasted data) for particular time period in Reporting

When i approached BW consultants they asked me whether a link exists between oppurtunity and FI ???

Please provide inputs

Hi Rajaram,

Yes the link exists if you have created the order using the Follow up transaction for the oppurtunity. The document flow gets updated in the Oppurtunity management. Once you get this information you can pass this in R/3 and get the details of Invoice.

Here client using CRM 4.0 and in CRM 4.0 we cant create a follow up document from Oppurtunity to Quote or Order in ECC

Can we use Planning tab in oppurtunity to get invoiced data ???

Please provide inputs reg planning tab in oppurtunity as client not yet configured SEM

Hi,

You have to create your Quatation & Sales Order in CRM itself and downlod the same into ECC through Middleware. By doing this you will get your information updated in CRM as well as in ECC.
