Hi ,
I have to plants 001 & 002.In plant 001, i have many storage locationsin 001 & so does in plant 002. There is a particular component which is withdrawn /produced from plant 002 but used in Assembly manufactured in plant 001. So that component is in stock in both plants i.e. 001 & 002.Now when i take the MRP run of that particular assembly, i want the system to consider the component stock of plant 001 & also of plant 002 for net requirement calculation.
Could anyone help me in mapping the same in same.
Thanks in advance
Charan
Hi
I'm not sure weather the process already exists and you want to understand or you want to set up this process.
If you want to setup this process ...
Select Plant 0001 as planning plant
and Plant 0002 as manufacturing Plant.
So you will be using special procument key in 0001 plant.
Special Procurement key will be Withdraw from another plant(0002)
And Run MRP for 0001 plant.which will plan for that material.
and you will get planned order and production orders in Plant 0002
So you will recive them in 0002 storage locations only.
Hope this will help you ...
Thanks

You need to use withdrawl from other plant-special procurement key
In this case you need to plan the consumption of component in 0001, in plant 0002. you can use consumption based planning for the component.
When production order confirmtaion or backflush is cretaed in plant 0001, it is withdrawn directly from plant 0002.
In 0001, there will not be any stock of component, it is manged in 0002 only.
hope your question is answered.

Hi,
You can use scope of planning to run MRP for the same material in more than one plant. For that you have to define scope in the spro > production > Material requirements planning > planning > scope.
Here you have to define a scope and include the plants to be included and use the scope while you run MRP using MD01.
Reward me if useful.
Thanks,
Karthik
