hi,

for assets we will post, the reconcilation account as the G/L account, where we have to set that a particular asset belongs to this reconcilation account

In asset class.. you have to define <b>Account determ</b> for this asset class

then you can define account to Account determ via AO85

Go to FS00 create on asset select control data tab reconsilation account for account type give asset and fsg g067 save

In Asset Class we have Account determination

and when we create Asset we have to create Asset class and Asset class will have Asset numberr range, Account Determination and screen layaot for the Asset. same Asset Account determination will be used for diffrent asset class

Account determiniation>Asset Class>Asset Master >Asset Sub mster

you define an asset to an asset class and when you configure asset classes you define the recon account for each asset class.
