Diff. bet. control cycle tcode 'LPK1' and 'PK01'

hi.....

I want to implement Kanban production process. I found 2 ways to define control cycle that is i can define Kanban control cycle in i.e.'pk01' and control cycle 'lpk1'. can anybody tell me the diff. between this two tcode. To define no. of kanban in which control cycle i should define.

Hi

If your material is managed in warehouse ( ware house is activated ) you should go in for LPK1.

Other wise you can create in PK01.
