Cost of Goods sold in GL vs sales Order Assigned

Dear SAP expert,

We are facing issue in Reporting our financials because of below.

In SAP when we are Assigning sales order to related unit at this point cost of Goods of this particular unit is charged in GL account as a cost of goods sold. but some times we deliver goods after few months of Assigning sales order to inventory units, so Sales Revenue and Cost of sales is booked in different months. (Matching concept is not being followed and our GP figure is wrong.

We want that when we prepare delivery note at this moment cost should be shown in Cost of sales GL to fulfill matching concept. so how we can manage this?
