Separating myInbox extension and Standard vanilla app

Hi,

we have a question from the user where user wants to see the vanilla version of the myInbox PO approve app, and at the same time, user being able to see the MyInbox PO approve app with the extension.

Is this possible? I tried applying the above requirement in the worklist or master page of the app but its not working.

Would love to hear your insights.

    Hi Settarat,

It depends on how/what you have extended.

If My Inbox app itself is extended, semantic object should be different. If you use same semantic object, target mapping works and extended app comes up.

      Hi Masa,

Thanks for the response. Based on the My Inbox cookbook, semantic object for the for both extension and standard app are the same, it will only differ in the action, URL and the component.

I also found this one, in the standard service ZTASKPROCESSING and ZC_PURCHASEORDER_FS_SRV, the service implementation is the same as the extended one. See attached file.

Is the service implementation for the standard service correct? As per testing, when we select the standard my inbox, it is calling the extension.
