Contract release strategy not triggered with version management

Dear All,

The business requirement is to configure contract release strategy and additionally if any line item changes made in the contract line items for example any line item added or deleted the release strategy should be retriggered or reset. I found that activation version management would be only standard option without any enhancement.

Normally release strategy works fine if the version active indicator is set release strategy is not triggered. Please suggest.
