CRM relationships <> organizational modeling

Hi guys,

This is my first post on the forum so please correct me if I should add more, less or better information when asking a question.

My question is:

I want to create a relationship between two businesspartners: an employee of my own company and a subsiduary of my company. (I want a 'Is an employee of'-line in the BP relationships-tab)

I made a company-tree with the company modeling tool and I added the employee under the an organizational unit > position.

Yet if I want to add a relationship in the BusinessPartner (/nbp)-window it says that maintenance should be done in the organization modeling tool.

This is something I don't understand, how can I create a employer-employee-relationship between those two BPs?

Thank you in advance,

    HI Filip,

    1. The Relationship ' Is an Employee of' can only be added using Organizational model ( PPOMA_CRM).

    2. You Organizational unit exist as a business partner as well. If youwill open that business partner in Tcode BP, U will be able to see the relationship ' is an employee of' , which u have added via organozational modelling tool.

    3. To maintain employee - employer relation try using someother relationship category , like is person responsible for or is employee responsible for etc.

    Wish the information is useful.

Well it seems that there is a problem with my SAP version, since that relationship isn't automatically generated.

Thank you for your time and clearing things up!
