Hello, Here I am facing a problem with planning dates, System is considering even weekend days(Saturday & Sunday ) , I checked factory calendar and planning calendar both are excluded weekend days, both calendar are valid to 2025. As per standard process system should not plane for weekends and Holidays. Please suggest us solution for this.

Regards, Shyam

Hello Caetano,

Thanks for your replay, The issue is with planned orders only. After MRP run the planned orders dates are falling in the weekend dates.

Please find the below dates from planned order. The end date 11/04/2017 is Saturday.

*. Checked in the factory calendar, there maintained Saturday& Sunday non working day.

* Checked at work center level, its blank not maintained calendar here, So system should consider the default calendar which assigned to the plant, but which is not happening in my cause.

*.I changed the date to 11/6 and marked firm planned order.

Notice the due date switched back to 11/4 in the planned order.

Converted the planned order to production order Changed date to 11/6 and hit convert.

The start date automatically moved to 11/3- and end date 11/6 (instead of 11/1 and 11/06)

* we maintained planning calendar weekly 2 times (Monday&Wednesday).

Kindly let me know, where the problem is..and how can we avoid this.

Regards,

Shyam

Hello

If your material is integrated with APO, then the APO factory calendar is used to check the dates.

Maybe you need to implement the following note, in order make sure that the ERP factory calendar is used:

611153 - APO<->R/3: Planned order dates check (modification)

Also, if it's a production/process order, make sure the that the work center/resource isn't using a different calendar than the plant calendar. If it's blank in the work center/resource it will default to the calendar assigned to the plant

Hello

Please observe that your question is very generic. Which kind of planning element is having the incorrect dates? Is it a planned order, a production order, a purchase requisition?

Also, which kind of date is being calculated in the non-working day? Is it the basic dates or the production dates?

You should try to provide as much information as possible when opening a new thread.

The most frequent cause for this issue is that the production order or planned order operation has a duration of zero, because it is not relevant to scheduling. In this case, system can schedule this operation on a non-working day.
