Where can I get Windows drivers for Sybase ASE?

I need to access Sybase ASE (Ver 12.5) data from Windows server. Where can I get 32 and 64 bit drivers? Preferably ADO.NET, but I'll consider anything.

Hi,

The ado.net driver is in the SDK for SAP ASE. These are two KBA's on how to get the SDK:

http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2252628 or http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2093510.

Thanks,

For ASE versions 15.x and 16.x these are part of SDK (Software Developer Kit)

If you have access to SAP software portal you can download these. Search for Sybase products.

Not tried to mix and match new drivers with old server like ASE 12.5x, but my guess is it will work.

Can you elaborate on "access to SAP software portal", please? I was able to log into lanuchpad.support.sap.com but it tells me I need an S-User ID.

I have managed to find these drivers in the past on another computer, but can't seem to locate them now. I'm wondering if SAP has change their access to them.

How do you connect to SAP launchpad ? with S-id ? or E-email ?

At the top of launchpad home page you should see your own login + S-id in the notification area.

For myself I see this as Avinash Kothare (S.....)

Use that to login when you want to download. And this assumes that your S-ID is registered with a profile to download software from SAP.
