Hi All,
Currently I am trying to connect Business objects to new SQL server using technical account.
I have created a User DSN using technical account (test successful) and also a new connection using the new user DSN (test successful). A new universe is created on this new connection and the server response is fine. Also I am able to see the table rows in the universe.
However when a new report (Web Intelligence) is built using the created universe i am getting - WIS: 10901 Data source name not found and no default driver specified(ODBC) error.
Question is If I am able to create a data source, connection and Universe successfully why is it that I am getting error when i try run a new report.
Please suggest.
Also I am wondering if a system DSN is required instead of a user DSN.
Thanks,
Santhosh
have you created the DSN at BO server? user DSN is specfic to user.Create Systsem DSN.

You need to use System DSN and while for universe designer the DSN needs to be 32bit, for the Webi reports running on the BOE server the DSN needs to be 64bit.
