Work Manager - Inbound Transaction Queue - Key Mapping

Hi Team,

As part of Cross Reference and Key mapping feature of Inbound Transaction Queue Management, I am trying to implement a scenario as mentioned below which is from the standard configuration guide for Work Manager 6.4 application.

Business case: An example of key mapping processing in SAP Work Manager is when the leading transaction creates a work order and the subsequent transaction creates an attachment for the new work order.

Configuration to support key mapping processing consists of two parts:

● Define the cross reference setting for the leading transaction inbound queue

● Define the key mapping setting for the subsequent transaction inbound queueDefine

The cross mapping settings are done for work order queue with the queue check-in mode configuration as ‘Error processing only’. Since the standard work order create function module does not give the actual work order number created, we have customized the class handler - WO create method in order to get the Order number in the export table ET_NUMBERS. Afterwards, the cross reference table /SMFND/D_INB_R is getting filled with the actual order number as shown below once the WO create queue transaction is processed from the admin portal after this customization.

Is it possible to create the cross-reference entries without any customization to the work order create class? Or is there any other scenario where we can implement this feature without any customizations?
