Hi Gurus

How can we change the SLED date for a material in the bin after goods receipt?

Is it possible that how can we track the material in a bin that had different SLED dates without using batch mangement.Suppose if i receive the same product with different production dates?

To change the expiry date at a later date, you need to change it in the batch master (using MSC2N).

Having Expiry date without batch management does not make sense. Forget SAP or any system requirement, it does not make business sense also because all stock of the same material will not expire on the same day and it is not possible to differentiate without batch management.

Thanks for the reply.Can u tell me one more thing is is possible to track the material in the bin by their SLED using batch management and also what type of characteristic we have to include in while creating batch master record?

If u change the GR date in the bin (LS22) for the material will this have impact on the SLED date?

Hi,

U can track by batch no.

Date of manufacture will effect the SLED date and not the GR date
