I am trying to built a KM and now i am lost what to do next. can anyone tell me where I should go and get the instruction on what to do next?

From my research i found out that I need to install Content Server first. I found the document from here

It sounds like you are maybe interested in Knowledge Warehouse, which is separate from Knowledge Management. Could that be the case?

Hi Anwarul - the issues you are having are specific to system installation and don't have to do with Knowledge Management & Collaboration, so I'd recommend that you try searching other forums for answers and posting there if you can't find via search.

The "SAP Netweaver Platform" forum looks like it has some general questions about SAP KW installs - other forums probably do, too. I can't tell where you are in your install process.

Also be sure that you know what version of the product you want, since installation of this has changed in the past. If you are new to SAP and SAP installs in general, you're going to want to do some reading + research. For instance, have a look at the "IT Scenarios at a Glance" pages on help.sap.com that outline the requirements" target="_blank">http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/43/9da60f8d7921a6e10000000a1553f6/frameset.htm">requirements for SAP KW in NetWeaver 7.0 (note that you are asking about NetWeaver 04). KW is now part of the "Enterprise Knowledge Management" IT scenario. Note that this page is telling you you need a "dual stack" install (Java + ABAP), as well as the Content Server, TREX and SAP GUI components.

Also - that download link definitely works, it's where all our customers download software. This, too, has changed a little recently but will work for the version you are interested in.
