Hi experts,

I'm having few issues on the MRP run and would like to get your advise.

Material master details

-> MRP type (PD)

-> GR processing time 3 days

-> Availability check 01

-> Lot-to-lot procedure

-> Rescheduling horizon 100 days

1)In MD05, there is available stock in MMBE. However, PO item 10 is being rescheduled to the delivery date where there is sufficient stock. Why does this happen? From what I understand, it should be rescheduled to cover insufficient requirement.

2) Apart from that, in the PO, material 1234 has for eg. 10 line items with different delivery date (Difference by one day). After MRP re-run, systems shows exception message 15 for item 10. For other line item, no rescheduling date is being proposed.

Any idea on this? Appreciate your help as I've been searching but have not found an answer.

Thank you.

Hello

I suggest that you look at the following WIKI, in order to understand the rescheduling logic in more detail:

https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/ERPMan/What+is+rescheduling+and+how+does+it+work

1) Answering your questions, you should never compare the MRP results with MMBE, since MMBE only considers the stocks, while MRP also considers requirements and receipts. Possibly, the available quantity is negative in MD05 and that's why the rescheduling exception was triggered.

2) Probably you have defined tolerance values for the rescheduling messages in customizing.

Caetano
