Hi Parvez,

You will have login using the ID in which your system is registered.

Go to www.service.sap.com -? Help & Support-> Connect to SAP-> Maintain Connections

Choose your system and open connection for necessary time.

This means SAP want to access your EAD to look into the issue that you have reported through OSS message. To open the connection , Open the message that you have opened with SAP --> Expand Selected System: EAD Installation Number: xxxxxxx --> Click on Maintain Service Connection --> Select R/3 support ( or appropriate , usually its R/3 ) --> Enter the days you want to open the connection --> start service connector this will open the connection ( assume SAP router is running )

Then select Message --> Expand Selected System: EAD Installation Number: xxxxxxx -->Change access data --> Under installation select your system ( EAD ) --> Modify --> enter a user id, password and expiration date , here enter the user id using which you want SAP to access your system

Thanks

Hi Parvez,

ECD must be the name of the system... closed means you need to open a remote connection so SAP can access your system to troubleshoot...

Go to marketplace -> Help and Support -> Connect to SAP -> Click on the system (in this case ECD) -> R/3 Support -> Mark the ammount of time you want to open the system -> Start Service Connector...

Once you do this your system must be marked as connected...

Also... If this is already done and they say that the system is closed... open it for changes in SCC4

Thanks for your replies.

As mentioned I have done this Help and Support -> Connect to SAP -> Click on the system (in this case ECD) -> R/3 Support -> Mark the amount of time you want to open the system -> Start Service Connector...

The problem here is that it asks for Local Router String.

We have SAP ROUTER in Solution Manager Production System.

What can be done here, Should we install SAP ROUTER in development as well. How can this be resolved.

Thanks

You dont have to install saprouter in Dev , In your solman system check your saprouttab file and make sure required entries for Dev system are in place ..

THanks

Prince,

Thanks for your help

In Solution Manager there is file saprouttab in D:\usr\sap\saprouter

which has IP of Dev System

There are 3 entries for Dev IP

p XX.XXX.XX.33 YYY.YYY.YYY.129 3299

p YYY.YYY.YYY.129 XX.XXX.XX.33 3200

p YYY.YYY.YYY.129 XX.XXX.XX.33 3389

where XX is the Dev IP.

What is this YYY IP and know what should I set in the Local Router String in the market place to open ECD.

Thanks

Parvez Khan.
