Dear All.

I am creating the report on the Bex query and the key figure is having exception aggregation SUM with the last value so in this way when I try to do grouping on GL accounts I am getting #Unavailable with the balance field.

my requirement is to do the grouping base on the GL account range i.e. for example.

GL between 100000 to 1099999 Cash GL's

GL between 200000 to 2099999 Expense GL's.

GL account key is the character what is the possibility in WEBI to achieve this.

any help will be highly appreciated.

kind regards,

Hi,

I would recommend to create in BW an attribute on GL account that contains the grouping, you can then easily drag and drop it in your query.

you could also create a hierarchy if you want to be able to expand and collapse to see each GL account separately (hierarchy has less performance than nav attribute)

Hi ,

you can create a variable in Webi to define grouping .Or use "Group " feature available in Webi 4.1 or high.

for #Unavailable issue , we should bring in Month dimension which is used in Exception aggregation to get value .

create a variable with sum aggregation if need to get value.

that feature is not dynamically, if a new gl account is used, you will not see the reflection in the WebI
