I have created a calculation view which has a few variables as well as input parameter.
The input parameter is mandatory and does not have any default value.
My understanding was that in such a scenario if you use the same view as "View/Table for value help" in the variable then you will not see any list of values as it has input parameters as well.
However now I am noticing that even if i use the same view for value for help in the variable I am getting LOV.
How are the values getting generated without executing the view? And if the view is getting executed how is that working as I have not passed the input parameter value.
The input parameter is also used in a filter and based on that the output of the view is supposed to change.
Then how is the value for help getting generated using the same view! I am using HANA 2.1.
Am i missing something! Any help would be appreciated!
