Can I Backflush a Finished Good that has no BOM but has a routing with materials assigned to the Component allocation?
Kind regards,
Guy.
Guy
It is impossible to assign componets to a Routing without a bom ACCORDING TO MY KNOWLEDGE.
SAP will not allow you to assign component and it will ask to create a BOM

Hi Guy
first of all like above been told , you cant assign material in routing without BOM
and Backflush means issue of component , which is BOM items

Dear Guy,
What Mr.Ganesan has asked is a valid question ,once if your material is not
having a valid BOM,you can not carryout the Component allocation in rate routing.
The system pops up whetehr you want to create a BOM.

Hi
The back flush functionality is for components & not for the materials.
I hope you are referring to materials assigned means header materials assigned to routing.
If my assumption is correct, it is not possible to backflush.
