Read authenticated user profile from iOS SDK

Hi Experts,

is there a way to read some data from the cloud user profile once I've successfully authenticated the user using SAML or OAuth2? I'm looking for something similar to user API that is available in UI5 apps on SCP, that will allow me to display "Hello John!" when John logs in to the app.
