Need help on how to get the data in query of the multicube

Hi,

We are trying to have the two cubes data ( Sales cube, Delivery cube ) in a query by means of Multicube.

We thought that system it self would match sales documents number and against the document number will give both the details of cube!

but that was the case not to be. when i had included the both sales order info objects numbers and run the query , in one column it was showing the sales order number and on the alongside it , it is showing junk values, where that has to be filled by the sales document of the other cube or we expected it to be the sales document number of the other cube.

is there anyway that in the query, sales document is matched, and we get the data of both the cubes pertaining to that sales document number?

It sounds like you need to create an InfoSet to join the two InfoProviders, instead of a MultiCube which does a union.

One drawback to this is that if you are still on 3.x, the InfoSet cannot include InfoCubes. If you load the data into an ODS first (or even in parallel), this approach will work, though.

Alternatively, you may want to look at the Sales Document Order Delivery extractor (2LIS_11_V_SSL) and build an Order Delivery InfoCube from that DataSource.
