Hi Experts,
I am using Adobe Ineractive Forms to generate a certificate. The issue is that irrespective of any font i use in the designer , it only shows Arial font at runtime.
It shows the proper font in the PDF preview tab of designer, but at runtime it shows only arial.
I am using it on development environment , can that be an issue? Are all the fonts only available on production licensing?
Hi,
the font must be know on the ADS Server and the ADS Printer device type.
The device type configuration stands in a *.XDC file.
In device type "POST2" are only following fonts available: Arial, AvantGarde, Bookman, Courier, Helvetica, Marigold, NewCenturySchlbk, Palatino, Symbol, Times-Roman, Wingdings, ZapfChancery and ZapfDingbats.
Regards,
Dieter

Dieter/Virag,
Do you have to reboot the server after you install the fonts in the windows server where ADS is running? I've added the new font into the windows server, but the print out still not picking up the fonts. Before I asked tech. team to reboot the server, I would like to know if that the reboot is mandatory.
Regards,
Iwan
Hi Virag,
According to me it should work on a development enviroment. When the pdf document is created it should embed the choosen font(s) (except 2 default fonts Myrid or something like that). I didn't see this issue before.
Kind regards,
Maarten.
