Installing SOLMAN in windows and NW2004s in AIX

Can i install SOLMAN in a Windows machine and NW2004s in a AIX machine and connect them from SAP Side

You can install Any SAP system lick-solution manager ,EP,XI,Netwear,ERP, on any OS and you can connect

Not only in the case of SOLMAN... you can have an environment consisting on different systems under different OS's and DB's... and they all be able to communite via RFC's.

Yes. You can install SOLMAN in windows and whatever system in AIX and connect them.

Hi Balaji,

Solman you can install only on Windows and moreover it is based on NW4s. You can install Separate instance of NW4s on AIX and connect to both from SAPGUI. No Problems..

Can you please tell me from where did you confirm that you can install Sloman ONLY on WINDOWS Platform.

<b>Do not pass on incorrect information.</b>

Please check the PAM as well as the instguides and you will find that solman is available for installation on Windows, Linux, Solaris, AIX , Hp-UX.
