purchase group in service order

where we can see the purchase group config with service orderactully presently i m making service order, in this i can enter any of the purchase group.

so what is the right config, like in materials po, purchase group picked from the material master, so from service order from where should it be picked?

Hi,

In normal PO type, if you select the item category D, then it becomes the service PO. Here, you have to enter your purchasing group manually. Then after doing all the entries, you will have to enter service master number or service text manually.

Hello,

You can do this thru your personal setting in purchase order.

For service purchase order there must be separate document type.

Go to default values and select PO header, there you can put required data that you want default for that particular order.
