Hello Experts,

We are in the process manufacturing industry, and use SAP Manufacturing Execution system, now Faced a problem that the actual yield quantity of production orders(or SFC) is greater than the quantity of the order (or SFC).It's not clear whether the system supports this business. What should we do?

Please suggest.

Thanks.

Add an overdelivery tolerance on the work scheduling view of the material master. It can be entered as a percent which will allow for over delivery up to a percentage above the order quantity or as unlimited which will allow unlimited delivery over the order quantity. I prefer to use the percentage since while most orders can have some reasonable amount of overdelivery but at some point the entry is probably a mistake. For example with unlimited, an order for 1,000 could be confirmed for 10,000 without generating an error. I think it's better to determine how much over the planned quantity an order can reasonable go and then enter it as a percentage. For example, an order for 1000 with an OD tolerance of 10% would allow you to confirm up to 1100 before generating an error.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for you answer, but I guess may be SAP ERP have the work scheduling view of the material master, and SAP ME not have it,so still confused about the problem.
