Integrated ESS: Missing PZM3

Hi,

in the moment we are using ESS with SAP Enterprise (4.7).

Now we are doing the Upgrade to ERP2005.

We decided to use the Integrated ITS. I heard the PZM3 will not run on ERP2005.

Do we really programme this application which simulates the PZM3 on our own? Or there is already a solution from SAP or someone else?

We have several customers who has outsourced their HR Processes to us. We maintain their ESS on our SAP Servers.

If we change to ERP2005 the problem is, that our customers have their own Portal which is often no SAP portal. The Portal is a very strategic IT part of our customers, so we have no access to the Portal. On the other hand our customers has no HR know-how to maintain the ESS om their own.

We heard about the internal ESS. May be this could be the solution in our situation. Where can we get more information about the internal ESS. Who has tested this software already.

Thomas you are right about PZM3 usage... SP is encouraging to move to SAP portal to use these solutions.. so you will not be able to use standalone ESS.. unless you decide to call ESS services directly on the Portal(one you are using).

You can build your own menu(simulating PZM3 logic) and give links to these individual services.. but you have to take care of Single sign on.

There are some limitations in Integrated ITS, please refer note 852235.

Thank you for your answer, Sudhir. But what I am looking for is such a own menu which is simulating the PZM3. Is there no pattern which I can use. So that I only have to build in the links to the individual services?
