Why we r creating automatic calculation of primary cost clement.

Hi,

There is nothing like calculation of primary cost elements

We create Primary costelements with respect to that of ur GL accounts so that once u make posting for that GL the concerned cost is carried to Controlling area through this Costelements.

We can create Costelements automatically by defining Automatic Creation of Costelements in Chart of accounts.

After defining in Chart of accounts do the following steps in IMG

IMG>Controlling>Cost element Accounting-->Master data > Cost element> Automatic creation of cost elements Primary/Secondary

Make Default Settings

Create Batch input session

Execute batch input session
