Hello,
Is it possible to install mySAP ERP 2005 on a Windows XP Professional OS, or must it be an Windows Server OS? If it has to be a Windows Server OS, could it also be driven on a Windows 2003 Server VMWare Session which is running on a Windows XP Professional?
many thanks and
best regards
Dietmar
yes, but keep in mind that you need additional resources (memory) for the 2nd operating system.

Hello Peter,
Do a PC with Dual Core CPU, 2GB RAM and 500GB harddisc is enough to run an IDES-system (ABAP Stack) with ERP-modulse (SD, MM, PP, ...)?
OS on the PC is Windows XP Pro ... VMWare Session with Windows 2003 Server to run the IDES-System ... Oracle? or should I use another DB?
many thanks and
best regards
Dietmar

This is a training/demo system? then it should work. what is important is the Os that SAP sees.
