Unable to login to portal - Urgent help

Hi All,

We have a BI7 system connected to EP7.0 system. Recently, one of our consultant has been trying to output the BW reports to pdf which was working fine for 3 pages till 10 pages normally. Since the requirement was to print 20 pages, it was returning the error. After checking for sap notes we found note 934275 which we found suitable and changed as per the below soln.

"Open the Visual Administrator for your J2EE Engine.

Under Server -> Services -> Web Container, the service is found under Runtime on the right. This service has a subnode irj. Select this node and click on View. A dialog. The entry Session timeout appears under Main in this dialog. Increase the value of this entry as required."

After changing this value from 20 to 60 in the VA, we found that no users including the administrator were able to see any pages in their login to portal.

so we reverted back to 20. Now there is another problem we are now not able to login to Portal, even with Administrator user id.

Can anybody please help. We are able to connect only to Visual Administrator with this.

Unable to login to portal now. What could be the problem. Can anybody help please.

    If u have to access Visual admin, go to Server -> Services -> Security Provider -> User Management tab -> Search for user with super admin role and check if it is locked. If so, unlock and check if that user can help.
