Hello,

I try to install Add-on BI_CONT Rel.703. But in transaction saint,

BI_CONT is locked for three days on phase IMPORT_PROPER.

Is it normal that takes a long time ?

What can I do ?

Thanks

Hello,

in DB02 : I can see :

Data Area Occupancy :

Total Size : 96.256.000 KB

Permanently Occupied Area: 70.149.504 KB - 72%

Temporarily Occupied Area: 22.896 KB - 0%

Is it the problem ? So if yes, How can I rssolve it ?

What the error logs says ? In IMPORT_PROPER , repository including all table entries are imported. If it fails in this step it usually shows some TP errors , check the SLOG , ALOG files . Also check logs under /usr/sap/trans/log

Hello,

I have this log :

Please check that the R/3 system is running.

Please check the system. Use transactions SM21, SM37, SM50.

Hi,

This means that it failed in the import step.

Please check the following and let us know,

1. Is the RDDIMPDP job running?

2. Do you have enough free Background WPs?

3. Check if the tp tool is functioning correctly.

4. Do a R3trans -d on the App Server.

OK, I relaunch the server and restart the import of transport.

It is fine and finished.

Hi Henry,

It's very long time?, try mention your OS,DB, RAM and version details as well. Further you check with the import log files, you will get some clue.

Hari.
