I am newbie to Linuix.I dont know why is this error coming when I start the NW4 WAS 6.40 on Suse 9.0. Some Jdbc.conn error.I have Jdk1.4.2 installed then why is this giving this error?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for replying , but looks like my problems have just begun Now When I am trying to start
the server. Its says :<b>"NO START PROFILES FOUND" . </b>
Man, Running a WAS on Linux is really tough. I am not that good in that(LINUX). please tell me now what Could be done to resolve this issue.

this is the error:
error: java.io.FileNotFoundException:<b> JdbcCon.log (Permission denied)</b>
The file JdbcCon.log is created on the current directory
you do not have authorizations to
- create the file if it does not exit -
> chech the authorizations on the current directory
- overwritte the file if it already exist -
> chech the authorizations on the file
check that you are doiing this with the user "sidadm" on the correct directory

Hi Somil,
From the startup script, database has started successfully. Java DB connection test has failed. Please send out output of logfile JdbcCon.log this will help. Try to login to the instance and check.
Have any passwords in JAVA schema been changed?

1. May be Database is not online. Start the Database
2. If DB is running then execute R3trans -d and paste the log here.
3. Try this SAP Note :403004
