Calculation of product cost variance in T code KKS1

Hi

When we try to calculate variance in KKS1 for production orders system considering all the orders which was done in 2005 also. As per my knowledge it should calculate all the production orders which technically complete, and it should not calculate for orders which are marked for deleation. I dont know wether i am correct or not. When we try to mark for deleation for some orders system is giving error message that we can not mark this order for deleation. Plase let me know to calculate only the orders which are in present month only.

Hi,

The balance should be zero for production orders before the orders get the status CLOSED or Deletion Flag.

If the orders get the status CLOSED, then the variance will not be calculated however the orders will be picked during the process for checking the status.

If the orders get the status, DLFL (Deletion flag), then the variance will not be calculated and not even picked during the process. This will increase the performance of the system during variance calculation and also during Settlement.

Hope this clarifies your query.
